Recently one fellow on here opined that if there was another hi-cap mag ban, the mags we have now would be outlawed. Agree? Disagree?

No one has a clue.
It would depend totally on how any future mag ban law is written and passed into law.
It could grand-father current mags like the 1968 CCA did.
Or it could totally out-law them like several states have done in the last year or so.
But without a crystal ball or a time machine?
There is no possible way to even guess.

All we can do is speculate, and we don't do random speculation threads here on THR. There is no current federal AWB legislation with any chance of getting any traction. Don't worry about what might or might not get grandfathered in if there's another ban: Use that energy to make sure pro gun candidates from whichever party get elected in this critical mid term year.
