Awhile back I saw a thread on a forum about getting the plastic factory S&W auto grips refinished with wood grained coloring. The company offered 2 pages of different wood grain choices. I failed to mark the thread and can't find it now. Anyone know the name of this company?

The only mention I could find about a wood finish look on plastic S&W grips was on the S&W Forum. Apparently S&W offered them on a limited run of their Model 5906 auto loader. Sounds like it was some kind of thin applique applied over the grips.
