Custom Leather for Sig P226 X5 Competition

I wanted something a little different for my P226 X5 Competition, so I asked Erik at Sideguard Holsters to make a custom holster for it. Originally was thinking snakeskin, but saw this red sting-ray skin and had to have it. The finished product is better than I could have hoped for. A big thanks to Erik for the outstanding work here, another exceedingly happy customer! Here are a few pictures:

Huh, I thought for sure that someone would take interest in this. Perhaps the holsters forum doesn't get traveled as much...

The workmanship, especially the stitching, looks to be first rate. He seems to have a comprehensive lineup of IWB (also my personal preference) holsters as well, as shown here, and at very reasonable prices, too. I shall keep him in mind for a future purchase.

I have a similar holster for both my XD9 and Kahr K9 pistols. The holsters are very stiff and have excellent retention. They tuck up tight against the body, and even my thick-ish XD9 vanishes under t-shirts. I find them to be an excellent product, and an outstanding value. Erik is also a great guy to deal with.
