There is a custom semi-auto military based rifle on every other magazine page you look at which is great if that is what you want. But...

Where is the custom:
Benelli R1
Browning BAR ShortTrac
Remington 750
Winchester SRX

Anybody doing good custom work on these rifles? Getting sub MOA out of them?

If you know of any with a track record of sucess tell the world.

Thanks,

Why do you need a sub MOA deer rifle more than a MOA deer rifle? Those rifles do not lend themselves to custom work because
1) they are deer rifles, not varmint or target rifles
2) who wants a deer rifle with a 1lb trigger? can you say ND?
3) they are not very popular, so gunsmiths won't make money getting good at customizing them

What do you want out of those rifles? Tactical rails? custom triggers? aftermarket stocks? bull barrels?

You want what you want - freedom American style

Not that I have to explain why I want a gun to anyone including you and the guvment.

When did our gun collections become a "need", they are a want once you get past your basic survival gear.

1) they could be varmint or target rifles if they were more accurate.
2) who said anything about a 1lb trigger?
3) if they were not very popular, the factory would not continue to make them and making them more accurate would only make them more desirable

We put camo on everything when hunting in hopes the animal will not see us. In our current political times the same principle can be a wise thing to do. A sub MOA "deer rile" with forward mounted optical and accuracy enhancing trigger and/or barrel all friendly looking to the general non gun public and yet just as capable as the average badass black gun is an asset.

I find it helps to have "normal" looking guns around when introducing guns to people for the first time. And if I am going to invest money to have these in my collection I want them to perform as well as possible so duplication is not required.
