Cylinder clearance on a 986?

My 986 came back from Springfield with a new ratchet, but, unfortunately, zero clearance between the cylinder face and the forcing cone. I've already taken a little off the forcing cone, and the gun is back to functioning.
But it is still a tight clearance; I'm figuring on a little more careful work with a file and stone.
I've found a quote of 0.006" clearance; is this the recommended dimension?
Thanks in advance,
Moon

Confirming the .006 measurement is the gap between the barrel and cylinder face? (B-C gap)

If it is, .006 is a good gap size. Be sure it is the same all the way around the cylinder, sometimes the face isn’t square and it can rub in one spot or another.

Stay safe.

Thanks, guys. Off to the shop I go.
Rio, I've taken some off already, but it's not square; need to tidy that up.
