hello all.
just got my CZ.223 on thursday last after all the messing and the 5 week wait to get my licence, but i have it now and got a chance to get out with it of friday for a few shots and to target it in,WOW what a rifle, and some noise of it,it has a set trigger, and i wonder would any of you rifle men out there explain what use a set trigger has,i targeted it in a 200 yards so she is bang on target at this distance,so will she still be firing high a little over a inch and a half at 50,100 and 150 yards,.
thanks in advance

The CZ single set trigger (SST) system provides the shooter with the options to effectively handle any shooting situation they are presented with. The SST allows for both a standard hunting trigger and a light target trigger in the same rifle. By operating the rifle in the same manner as any other bolt action rifle, the trigger is in the “standard” mode with the heavier of the two trigger pulls. By simply pushing the trigger forward until it “clicks” the crisp and light target trigger mode is set.

Congratulations on your new rifle. I've been shooting my 223 LUX now for a couple of years. I've been impressed with the accuracy and the neat lines of the rifle. It has killed many a prairie dog.

Have fun!
