Hi,
I just shot my new CZ 452 today and all I can say is WOW! I mounted a Leupold Rifleman 3-9x40 on her and started shooting at a paper plate target at 60 yards (the longest I can shot without going to a range). After a few shots, I made a slight adjustment to the elevation and fired another group. Dang this gun is ACCURATE right out of the box. No adjustments of any kind.
I was so impressed I tossed out a golf ball (and I'm no amazing shooter). One shot, one dead golf ball. Another golf ball, another dead golf ball. I ended up shooting 40 rounds total and just had a darn blast. I had three rounds left, so I decided to have a little MORE fun. So, walked out and carefully placed a quarter on ground. Bang, I hit the old quarter dollar dead center (it could have been a dime). I'm completely amazed by this little rifle. It looks awesome, it's very well made, it shoots awesome, and it has developed quite a following.
After reading some rave reviews of the CZ 452 online, but I kept thinking to myself that I could get a cheaper rifle (ie: savage/marlin) and probably be just as happy. But, after literally looking over all my options, the CZ was just too nice looking a rifle to not purchase. I am thrilled with how it worked out. I would recommend this rifle to anyone that doesn't mind spending a little more on a small caliber rifle. The rumors are true!
cheers,
marlboro
