I am in the market for a "mid-range" scope to put on my CZ 452 varmint. I have narrowed it down to a....

Swift Premier Model SRP 4.5-14x44mm
or
Burris Timberline 4.5-14x32

Does anyone have any experience on either one of these? Both scopes are in the $200 price range.

No, but I use a inexpensive Mueller APV 4.5-14x40mm AO Riflescope w/ Butler Creek FO Covers on my 453 Varmint and have been pleased with it. :)

I just picked up a 455 American. It will be topped with a Nikon ProStaff 3x9-40 Rimfire. They are $149 bucks with free shipping from Optics Planet.

I have had the 4.5-14 X 44 swift mildot since 2007. It has served me well on my Savage 204. Good scope for the money. EABCO has them for $214 on their
website.
Do not have any experience with the Burris.
Good luck!

Good thread, as I am looking for the same for my 452 American.

I am going to take a look at that Burris. I like the size of the obj. and the magnification.

My 452 Military Special wears a Weaver Classic Rimfire at 2.5-7x28. Great scope at the range I can reasonably shoot a .22LR (say, 150-200 yds on a good day).

I also have a Mueller 4.5-14 APV scope on my CZ 452 American. Use promotion code RFC when you shop at Joe Bobs Outfitters and get a 5% discount and free shipping. Don
