Ok, so I’ve decided I’m going to get a CZ-52 pistol. Does anyone out there have anything I should look for when I’m buying one? I’m probably going to buy one off gunbroker.com so I’m probably only going to be able to see pictures. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks a lot guys (and gals)

I've always wanted one, but have other toys higher on the list. Local gun shop had CZ-52, holster, cleaning kit and two mags for $99.99 last summer. Now, I see that the pistols themselves are $150+. Heard from a few owners about broken firing pins that were easily replaced.

Don't dryfire it and don't trust the decocker, but otherwise they are well-made, robust pistols that fire a potent little round with serious penetration capability. Quality aftermarket firing pins are available, should you break one. Hogue makes wood grips for these critters as well, though they are spendy. I personally have a difficult time putting $90 grips on a $100 pistol.:scrutiny:
