I have a CZ 527 in .204. The problem I have is loading the mags with 5 rounds and they are very hard to strip off the 1st and 2nd rounds. The rest seem to come off OK. I have noticed that the rounds look to be a little low at the feed ramp and I have 3 mags that all do the same. If I use poly tips, you can see the tips bending as they start into the ramp. Will a bright polish on the ramp help much?
Anyone out there have the same issues and fixes?
Thanks

No, not at all on my 527M. Check if the magazine has the correct caliber stamped on the side? Call 1-800-955-4486, and ask the gunsmith/parts department, too.

They all show .204. I have noticed that they have rough edges along the top lips and make a deep scratch in the brass as the bolt strips them out. I stoned one on the edges and that helped some, but it's almost like the springs are too long or the lips are too tight. I've also tried leaving rounds in it to weaken the springs a bit.

My CZ-527 in .223 was very rough when I first got it. After a hundred rounds or so, it has become very smooth. Also, I made up some dummy rounds and worked them thru the action about a hundred times. Good luck.
