Cz 527

In general from opinions I've read here before, they're highly regarded (as are most CZ products).

I've been meaning to get it in 7.62x39 for a hunting rifle for when I go up to Wisconsin since most of the ranges I hunt at don't exceed 150 or so meters.

A fine rifle that could cost 50% more and I'd still want one just as bad. Fine workmanship, good accuracy, fantastic trigger, light and handy... just tell me when to stop. :D

My CZ 527 American left hand shot better out of the box than my .223 varminter with its expensive aftermarket barrel, trued action, lapped lugs, ad nauseam ad nauseam.

I've got the 527 American in a .222 Rem, bought it exclusively for coyotes and ground hogs. Its a great walking varmitor. I was suprised when it out shot my savage heavy barrel 22-250. It is 1/4 moa with 40 grn hornady vmax's.

Highly recommended

Light, accurate, excellent fit and finish. Barrel is not chrome-lined. Bolt action is not as smooth as on Remington 700.

I have two. A 527 Varmint in .223 and a 527 Carbine in 7.62x39mm.
They are two of my favorite firearms and the .223 is the most accurate out of the box firearm out there!
