I have pretty large hands, not fat or terribly big, but long fingers. The CZ Compact grip, fits me perfectly, and I find the Compact is as accurate for ME as my fullsize 75B. I find the Compact grip similar to the length of the Browing Hi Power which also fits me well, although the Browning's trigger reach is a bit short for me, but still manageable. The CZ's trigger reach in either Compact or full size is perfect.
I've got the PCR and the 75B, but still want an all steel Compact and/or P-01 and a 97B, and an SP-01..........Oy Vey!
I am a huuuuge CZ fan. I'm gonna buck the trend here. Have you shot a P-07 duty yet? If you do, I gaurantee you will buy one on the spot. I've shot every major and most 2nd tier polymer handgun out there. The duty was the only one that felt like an all metal pistol.
My father has both: a CZ 75B Stainless and a CZ 75D Compact (P-01). The P-01 has a decocker, the 75B an ambi safety. If you are going to carry, the P-01 is better and it is also a little more accurate, at least for me. The 75B Stainless is the best looking one. If you have medium hands the P-01 is just perfect. I've recently made a review of each gun, if you want to take a look.
I have a CZ 75B, PO-1, and a RAMI. I like them all, but the PO-1s curved trigger makes it a little short for me. The full size just fits my hands better.
Honestly the size difference between the compact and the full size isn't that much.
I have a CZ75B SA .40 that I CCW ... A friend of mine has a compact .40 and its really not significantly smaller (of course part of the problem with the .40 compact is that you can't find flush fit mags anymore so with the mag sticking way out there it's almost as long as a full size). Of course with 9mm you don't have the goofy mag problem.
Now the RAMI ... there's a big difference in size.
The women in my family like to shoot the 82. Smaller more comfortable grip on a compact frame, with the heft of a steel gun to help absorb some of the recoil. For me the 9x18 is a good compromise and loaded with Buffalo Bore ammo it should work.
I have the cz75b and a Kadet conversion as well. Great guns.
