CZ-75B vs Springfield WW2 Mil Spec

So I have located both a CZ-75B (the green tactical version) and a Springfield Armory WW2 Mil Spec. Both guns are $379.00 each.

I am already familar with CZs as I have a CZ-97B. I also am familar with 1911s as I have a Kimber Pro Carry and a Colt 1991A1.

So which would you buy for $379.00 and why?

It really depends what you want to do. Since you already have at least 3 .45's you clearly do not NEED a defensive pistol, so you just need to get what suits you the day of purchase.

That being said:

1. You have at least 3 .45's if you don't have a 9, get the CZ. Ihave the "Tactical" as well and really like it.
2. get both

I also have some 9mm guns including a 92FS, G19c, and AR-15.

Does anyone know if either the CZ-75B Tactical or the Springfield WW2 Mil Spec are limited edition guns? I saw alot of both at the local gunshow last weekend.

I think I am going to visit the gunshow again and pick one of these guns up. Just not sure which.....

Please advise.

You're in luck, I've got both!

If I had to choose between them, I'd get the CZ for a couple reasons. Accuracy and ammo cost.

They're both on equal ground as far as reliability so far. They're both very comfortable in my hand. I like both of their triggers (with the nod to the 1911 for short, crisp travel)

The SA is a little looser, and is definitely not as accurate in it's factory form (YMMV), but it's a GOOD 1911. RELIABLE as heck, and it looks nice in it's parkerized finish.

I'd go CZ-75B. Why? I don't have one of those yet. Mine is the earlier CZ-75 (with no import markings). Regarding the 1911, I must have almost a dozen of those (4 of which are left handed).

Although I don't currently own any 1911's, I do own 6 CZs. I love these handguns.
Besides the 9mm being more econonical to shoot you can also get a Kadet kit for it . These kits make a great trainer and makes the CZ even more cost

efficient.

Myself, I'd go with the CZ-75. Mine is my favorite range gun. Plus it would make a nice companion to your '97B.

Well thats a silly question. Get both. But seriously if you can only afford one, I'd say the CZ-75 would enhance your collection more.

Hammer bite is relative. I don't get hammer bite on anything, from a PPK, to a 1911 (with USGI style grip safety) to BHP to CZ75.

Chances are, if you get hammer bite on any of those, you'll get it on the rest. It's not the gun, it's YOU.
