I've been thinking about adding a CZ82 to my collection as an inexpensive carry gun. I know it's not exactly light - 1.7 pounds, so roughly 28oz - but it's all steel, DA/SA, and has an ambi thumb safety - as a southpaw, a nice addition.

I've only handled one and for but a brief time. They're not exactly hot buttons of sale at the local toy shop.

Wondering if anyone could either take some side-to-side and width-to-width comparison pics next to a 1911 (either officer or Gov't model), a full-size CZ75, or a Smith M&P for me?

If not pics, perhaps measurements of the CZ82 - width across the grips, width across the slide, trigger to backstrap?

Thanks,
Q

Here is a photo of the CZ82 on top of a CZ75 Compact. Essentially the same size.

HTH,

i carry my cz-82 sometimes. the grip is kind of fat, which makes concealment when only in a t-shirt or polo difficult.

I just bought a cz82 because of the fit and feel, it is a tad heavy, but it feels better than my full size 5903 Smith & Wesson, a lot easier to conceal also.

I have a CZ-82 and love it. It's about the same size as a Browning BDA or Beretta 84 in .380. It bigger than a Walther PPK. They shoot great and are accurate. I blasted mine and Duracoated it in H&K Black. I also installed new Night Sites from CZ-USA. Get one, you wont be disapointed......
