Just curious... For those in the know, compare these two .45s?

Not necessarily a discussion of qualitative differences, although personal opinions are expected, but more about specifications and features.

Notice different grip profiles. I prefer the CZ angle.
Notice decocker on Jericho. No cocked-and-locked carry if that matters to you.

Jericho should be slightly different in the fire control area, being a copy or modification of the Tanfoglio. It changes how the firing pin safety interacts with the sear. Out of the box, every Tanfoglio or copy thereof that I’ve tried has a nicer SA trigger than every (normal service level) CZ that I’ve tried. Just slightly though, and I’ve never really handled any in really rough shape. I believe this is due at least in part to this firing pin block deactivation difference between designs.

They're pretty close cousins.

I'll start with my opinion, I own a 97, it's awesome. It's more accurate, softer shooting and smoother than both my Dan Wesson 1911s and completely out classes a P220.

The 97 shares the same fire controls as the CZ 75.

The Jericho is based off the tanfoglio, which is kinda based off the CZ.
They do share the same magazine.
Aftermarket and OEM parts support IMO goes to CZ.

You can get the CZ-97 in a decocker version. It is a much better choice as far as I am concerned. My own CZ-97 was bought because it had the decocker and not the single action style of safety.

I believe with the Jericho since you can with tanfoglio is get a compact version and also with frame rail.

Another steel framed you might wanna look at is the SAR K45. Has a smaller grip than the CZ and packs 14 rds instead of 10.

Yeah, the SAR K2 .45 is nice too. Check that one out if you get a chance. It's a copy (ish) of the Tanfoglio design.

I believe they are advertising aluminum frames now... You might want to take a magnet with you if you get a chance to try one out.

I had a Witness 45, a CZ97B, and a Sar K2 45. The CZ is gone. It was an OK gun, but picky on ammo and I I got a good offer on it. Both the Witness and Sar have been perfect at this point.
I never had a Jericho in .45, but I have two in 9mm, one very rough surplus full sized, and a near NIB "semi compact". I have 3 Tanfo Israeli surplus 9mm's, two fullsized and one compact, and the last gun I bought was a SAR 2000 9mm in SS, very nice.

Needless to say, I love CZ's and clones.
