I won a certificate for a CZ-75 B. It's worth whatever current retail is, which is $597 today.

I can use it towards any gun they have.

I don't care for CZ-75's, the trigger reach is too long for starters.

I've had this certificate for a couple years, not finding anything I want to get from CZ.

I'm to the point of getting the CZ-75 then turning around and selling it for $425 or so and take that money and buy, maybe a new AR scope.

But I'm curious: If you had this certificate, what would YOU get from CZ and why?

"...won a certificate..." Congratulations.
"...trigger reach is too long for starters..." Too big for my hand too. Would have bought one in a heart beat when they first came to Canada in the early 80's otherwise.
"...can use it towards any gun they have..." That's decent of them. Whoever 'them' happens to be.
"...getting the CZ-75 then turning around and selling it for $425..." More than that or use it as trading goods for the AR scope.
CZ does make some dandy rifles and shotguns. BRNO's aren't bad either. They're going to want some money plus your certificate for 'em though. Not that that is a bad thing.
Anything strike your fancy on CZ's site? CZ firearms are kind of hard to beat.

I'm not enamored with any of CZ's handguns. I think the Dan Wesson 1911's are overprice and I'm not exactly 1911 poor......

I've considered their 453 in .17 HMR for purely fun pursuits. During the ammo shortage here, .17 hmr was the only ammo on the shelf many times, but it's expensive.

I've considered the same basic rifle in .22 magnum, but I honestly don't know what I'd use it for.

I'm not a bird hunter, per se, so a double barrel shotgun wouldn't get used much.

I've also considered their Carbine in .223 as kind of a light weight, light kicking "sniper" rifle for daugthers and wife, but I don't know how much any of them would shoot it.

I've considered their kevlar stocked .308, but the price difference is more than I want to cough up.

If I'd won $450 instead, I would've bought a Ruger Anniversary .44 magnum from CDNN and had some left over.

If the 75 trigger reach is to long for you, you have three options if you want a CZ
1-SP01-Trigger reach and grip are different (I knowfrom experience small hands here)
2-CZ Phantom-Has adjustable back straps (Poly version)
3-75 Compact (for smaller hands like mine fits like a glove and just as accurate).

Don't give up on the CZ line best pistol out there for the money in my opinion.

interestingly enough, I also won a Burris Fullfield II scope. It's their 3.5X-10X-50mm with LRS Ballistic Plex with digital dimmer. (illuminated reticle) It's still new in the box, altho I did have to take it out and put in the battery to see how it looked. Never been mounted.

Maybe a rifle to go under that ? It seems like that would be too much scope for a rimfire, and too large for the .223 Carbine.....

Or, replace the Leupold 3x9 Vari-X II on the .308 pre-64 Winchester Model 70 with it, then put the 3x9 on something else....

Decisions, decisions !

But I'm curious: If you had this certificate, what would YOU get from CZ and why?

CZ Safari Magnum in .375 H&H. Been a fetish of mine for a while. It's costlier than your rebate, but I assume it can go towards the price of something. Unfortunately there is a cheap way to get the Safari Magnum (~$800) and the expensive big-time retail way (>$1000).

452 Lux. I've wanted one for some time, but I haven't been spending much on guns these days. I'll eventually get one, though.

Seconds on the CZ 452 22LR. I doubt it matters which one you select.

I bought the Trainer, with Mauser style tangent sight, calibrated from 25 to 200 yards. The LUX is the same gun with prettier wood. The FS has the mannlicher stock which is real attractive. American comes without sights, designed for a scope.

You will not find a more accurate 22 than the CZ in its price range; maybe not in any price range. Fabulous little guns.

Get a rifle or sell the gift certificate to someone with more interest in acquiring a CZ. Selling something like that for half to 3/4 of the value of the ticket would be a good deal for both parties.

If you dont like DA trigger reach, how about CZ 75 SA?

On the other hand I consider CZ75(any of them) best option for small hands (compare it to Sig226, Beretta 92 or Hi-Power..)

I like Justin's idea. :)
Looked at the new CZ P07? Nifty sidearm, now also available in 40SW. Or you could try the new 455 American .22lr rifle, replacing the 452. The CZ527 carbine in 7.62x39 and .223 are quite well thought of, as it seems you really aren't a pistol guy.
If nothing appeals, list if for sale for a portion of cash value, or buy and trade.
