I have a CZ 97B .45acp and a 2075 RAMI in 9mm.

I'm having a really difficult time finding a jhp that feeds reliably in either one of them. To this point, I've tried Hornady, Federal Hydrashock, Rem Golden Sabre standard and +p loads, Speer Gold Dot, WWB jhp, Cor-Bon and Rem UMC jhp. Believe it or not, only the UMC fed 100% in eack caliber through 100 rds. The Golden Sabre looked like it might be good, but ended up with 2-3 failures in the Rami between rds 25-35.

I guess the UMC is good enough, though it's not commonly seen in many comparison charts you see for different PD ammo.

Anybody have any luck with any other brands? I was going to try the Rangers next, but my wallet has had enough already to experiment without some words of wisdom from you all.

Thanks in advance,
Joe

The Ramis have mag feeding issues, I know 2075 in 40 does. Call up CZ and they will exchange your mags.

For the 9mm, try the Federal "Classic" 115-gr. JHP at standard pressure (aka the 9BP). It is not the latest, greatest or most stylish load, but has been around for many years. It has a rounded nose and narrow HP cavity that might help your feeding.

For the .45, try the Winchester Silvertip 185-gr. or the Federal "Classic" 185- or 230-gr.

I had a few initial feed problems with my RAMI-P (9mm), mostly with PMC ammo.

Did two sets of things that have, to date, cured it.

Got out the Dremel and VERY lightly polished/buffed the feedramp, buffed the magazine lips and very slightly eased them apart, less than a millimetre, lubed heavily and then shot 100 round FMJ.

Worked on my wrist and grip, possible slight "limp wristing" on my part.

Since then haven't had issues.

Hope this is of help.
