CZ Rami

Almost everyone who writes about them, likes them. The .40 version seems less reliable than the 9mm, again according to various forum writings. Perhaps this has been corrected in new-production ones. I've only handled one myself, a 9mm polymer, and did not care for the shape (too flat) and location (too far forward) of its safety levers. I would like to check out one of the new decocker versions.

I have a CZ 2075 Rami 9mm. I love it. It has a easy trigger pull ( for me) and it fires like a dream. It has little recoil and easy to conceal. Just go read about it where they wrote about it and let your mind decide if it will be right for you.

I had a RAMI for about a year! That is, until my oldest daughter shot it and just had to have it. What's a father to do? Anyway, when I did own it I found it to be a simply superb small pistol. It was a 9 mm model and I put several hundred rounds through it with absolutely no trouble of any kind. None:D

Accuracy was quite acceptable, reliability was 100%, and it was easily concealable. I sure recommend it based on my personal experience with it.:p

The problem W/ the .40 has been corrected in the newer models. I carry a RAMI when I can't conceal my 75B . I love it 100% reliable. Accurate to at least 25 yards. Very concealable. Customer service CZ stands behind their product period. You could do a lot worse.

I owned a RAMI 9mm (alloy) for about 1 1/2 years. Put about 400 rounds, mostly JHP, through it with no problems. I did replace the factory magazine springs with Wolff springs. Sold it to a relative so I could buy a new P-01. I really did like the RAMI though.

My wife shoots and carries a RAMI in .40.

When other options have presented themselves she has stuck with the RAMI (except for her .45 "Silver Team" Witness fun gun).

The .40 version of the P-01 is called the P-06...Same great gun, but I much rather have the 9mm...It's the one that passed all the torture testing by CZ & NATO

The P-06 is proving to be as excellent as the P-01.
No durability issues with either gun that I can see.

As for the RAMI. The legion of dedicated RAMI fans/owners
is slowly growing.

Compact, durable, reliable. Not much to not like about the gun.

I have owned a 9mm RAMI Alloy frame for about 4 months. I have about 600-700 rounds through it with just a couple failures that happened in the first hundred rounds. I got the alloy frame because the grips can be changed and I thought maybe that the recoil might be dampened a little. The one thing I did not like is if you have bigger hands the stock length of the grips with the lesser capacity magazines can be a challenge. I like someplace I can put my pinky. I do like the gun a lot though, it is a great shooter. I am not the greatest shot in the world but my groupings are pretty tight with it.

Pinky finger problem can be resolved by fitting Pearce Springfield XD grip extensions. I did it with a couple grades of sand paper and a wood block and finished off the appearance with 0000 steel wool. Takes a little time, but not that hard. Somewhere on the CZForum there is a post that describes the process as done by someone. Some people use a Dremel, but I don't own one and had to do it by hand - not too difficult a process for me since I'm used to doing a lot of sanding in my woodworking.

I had one for a couple years, always fired great. I never had one jam or misfire, had put a couple hundred rounds through it. I would have kept it but I needed something thinner for concealment, now I have a kahr pm9

Very happy with mine. :)

Love mine. I have the poly version. Have about 700 flawless rounds thru it and counting. Very accurate and controlable. Points natural for me. Much better than the POS Kahr PM9 I had.
A little heavier and bigger but reliability is where it shines.
Buy one you won't regreat it.
