Of the CZ centerfire rifles with detachable magazines, do you have to remove the magazine to load the gun or can you leave the mag inserted and load from the top like the interenal magazine cz or the how the enfield was meant to be loaded?

I have a 527 Carbine in 223. I remove the mag to fill it up, but I don't know why you couldn't load it with the mag in the gun? I just haven't ever tried it.

I have a CZ 550 in .308 I've loaded 1 round at a time with the magazine inserted but I don't think you can load the magazine itself in the gun as the feed lips aren't wide enough for the round to be simply pushed in as they are on my FAL magazines. They have to be slid in from the front like in most semi-auto pistol magazines. I'm not sure if this applies to all the calibers however.

Enfields have detachable mags and are meant to be loaded from the top with strippers. Dunno about the CZ's. Sorry.
