CZ VZ58 Question

Anyone have one of these? I have heard alot of good things about them and am giving them serious consideration.

Can any1 tell me if these barrels are chrome lined?? I have searched but am unable to find the answer.

Also please add any pics and comments you may have of this rifle. Thanks alot!

Yes, they are chrome lined.

I've been considering building one for a long time, and now Cz-USA is importing them and selling them for less than I can build one for.

....and no, folks, it's not an AK variant and AK mags just won't work in it. The 7.62x39 cartridge necessitates a magazine with that curve in it.

Yes, I am. All of my kits have chrome lined barrels. Marstar is also selling these, and they do mention chrome lined barrels.

Here is the Vz58 manual in PDF format. It explains all about the chrome lining and barrel twist and all that. This is the current shipping manual (I just got it out of my box today).
