If you like it, I would get it if I were you. I have not heard anything but praise for this gun.

I got mine a couple months ago (CZ75 compact) and also got a .22lr kadet kit. I love it. It takes about 500 rounds to smooth out the trigger and the only thing I plan to do to it is change the grips for factory rubber grips. It's well made and ergonomical to me as well as reliable in 9mm form (with the .22lr kadet kit I've gotten 99% reliability with cheap ammo but hey, it's just for practice). Of course there are exceptions, but most people who have tried the CZ75 like and recommend them. Also, if you can test fire one that would be great, and you want to at least hold one in your hands to feel it. HTH.

BTW, if you search this site, you can see a lot of posts on CZs (lots of CZ owners on this forum). Also, check out this CZ forum. Of course, since they are on a CZ forum they must love CZs, and if you ask, of course they will say "Buy it! And then buy another! ;) " but it's worth checking out. HTH.

I own a CZ 75BD (decocker version) and I love it! It's accurate and reliable using any ammo... BUY IT!

CZ's rock.
I have a CZ-75BD. It is completely accurate and reliable.
I would like to have a CZ-75 Compact or PCR, but I might just wait and see what the deal is with the RAMI.

I think CZ-75's are perhaps the most talked about pistol here.
Well, along with the 1911...

Do a search and you will find more information than you'll be able to read in one sitting...

Simply put YES! If you just look around the current posts..youll see the great comments from MOST who have them. No gun will make everyone happpy...but , the CZ comes as close as anything ever will.

Shoot well.

Great Gun

Like PCRCCW said do a search here and on TFL. You will find that we cz owners are as devoted as 1911 or Glock or SIG fans but we are less cultlike. I for one am glad about that.

the Gun is not PERFECT but it is close enough for me.

Cz 75 has been called the most underrated handgun in the U.S. of A. I 've had my pcr for about two years and it has gone "bang" every time even with cheap blazer ammo. It's reliability and performance is running neck to neck with my HK USPc. If it fits your hand, you definitely can't go wrong with it.

I own a CZ75B, actually a transitional model that has been nothing but reliable for me. I have changed the grips to some Hogue exotic woods and changed the fixed sights to the low-profile tritium units you can buy from CZ-USA. If it feels good (and it does), shoot it. I have also installed a Fire-Dragon recoil management unit (kinda sorta like a shock absorber on a car). My only complaint is that the cost of the designed-capacity (as opposed to high-capacity...what a poor PC term) magazines is beyond what it should be.

I was able to shoot Sactown's or was it 45R's CZ75 Single Action last friday, and it seemed to be a very nice piece.

I've fondled a lot of CZ75s in the past and all were very smooth and tight. However, it took me 10 years to finally shoot one.

I believe the CZs are one of the best buys out there today. Note, however, that I am very biased when it comes to CZs as I own 8 and I am now waiting on the RAMI. :)

I got my CZ 75B by default. I was meaning to buy a Ruger , but a guy that had to use the Ruger as a duty gun advised me to look at something else.
I'm not trying to beat up on the Ruger 85 or other models, but he convinced me at the time. So, anyway, I asked the local shop guy what he recomended in the same price range and he said "CZ". It felt better and I liked the all steel frame, I've never looked back.
I just wish I'd snagged a steel frame Compact before they were scarce, now the only compact I can get here is the compact with the decocker, which isn't what I want.
Get a CZ, you won't be unhappy.

Which actions do you recommend? Could you describe the trigger pull differences? Thanks!

I've got a CZ75B. 100% reliable. ONLY downside is that the magazines do not drop free, even after removing the magazine brake.

Love Mine

My 75bd is reliable and accurate. The Kadet Kit has been the same. These pistols should cost way more than they currently do.

I love mine. I think they are the best thing since sliced bread. See pics. :D

My most beloved CZ75 P-01 polycoat finish in 9mm:

As far as accuracy is concerned. I am not the best shot in the world and I shot this 5 shot group at 21 feet off hand. I measures just a tad bit over 1 inch.

Like I said, best thing since sliced bread.
