A couple of months ago I sold a Sig 238 I never used to a buddy
and decieded to try my first double single as most my pistlos are single action or strieker fired.I wanted to see if I could
get proficeint with another platform,I handeled the P-01 at my local toy store and loved the ergos. That said the trigger left a lot to be desired,It functioned fine but was gritty and very stagey.I shot it for a month and dry fired the heck out of it and it was getting better,I brought it in to my Smith buddy and
he worked it over.Smoothed out all the internals some minor spring changes, did some major reliabillity testing.
Its now fast closing in on my G19 for the daily carry spot.
The action work and mep tru dot sights have made it into a very
nice pistol.I shot it in an IDPA match last week for the heck of it,I dropped a couple of places from my norm but not by much and it's gaining a lot of respect from me.If all the CZ's run like this one I can see why some like them.
Sorry so long winded.

Welcome to the side of the light. :)I was carrying CZ before carrying CZ was cool, to paraphrase the song, and the one that spent the most time on my side is my CZ P-01. Good solid firearm.

The CZ P-01 is the "other Glock 19" :D I love mine. Here is mine in my crossdraw holster.

I have the CZ 75D PCR which is, for all intents and purposes, the same basic gun without the rail. I bought mine (used) because it was in fantastic shape and the price was right. It was my first CZ 75 style pistol, but not my last, and I would say that it is for sure my most favorite to shoot. It is also my go to carry gun. I would buy a P01 without a moment's hesitation.

Had a P01 once and it shot very well! Couldn't warm up to the decocker, or blocky nose for a carry gun, so I traded it off. The decocker is the only thing keeping me from picking up a PCR, would love to see either in a man safety!

The CZ 75 compact is the same size as the PCR but has a frame mounted safety and it's steel rather than alloy.

My P01 is my most frequent carry gun. Trigger isn't the best I've ever felt, but I've gotten used to it, ergos on it are amazing.

I like the decocker over the safety, most especially because I'm a lefty and there is no CZ 85 compact.

A really great gun accurate but a tad heavy for CCW. Best shooting 9mm by far of my guns in 9mm.

The P-07 Duty has the option of the decocker or the safety. There is a P-02 which, as I understand it is no currently imported by CZ-USA that has the Omega trigger system and can be switched from decocker to safety also.

The P-02 is not currently imported...that may or not change due to many different variables. P-01 is an excellent CCW pistol; that I can attest to with personal and lengthy experience.

I bet my life and my family's lives on one.

I loved the P01 I owned (along with its siblings the 40P and 40B), but for me, CZ's lost much of their appeal when the prices started to rise. They're great guns, but at their current prices there are other guns I'd rather buy that have better triggers out of the box, better holster selection, and aftermarket support.

I have to agree. I bought mine in the late nineties and they were an incredible bargain at the time. It's not though that CZ is raising their prices, it's the value of our dollar that's shrinking.

Besides my interest has moved on to things like the Styer M9, that has even less support and holster selection. :D

Love the CZ lines... I don't like the cheap feeling P07 safety though (my only complaint).

I have to agree, that when they were $300 - 350, they were bargains. Best money in the gun world. Now at $500+, there are other options that are as good or better...
