Can the 9mm pistol be converted to shoot .40S@w simply? (meaning a barrel, mag, and maybe small parts change) I thought there might be a chance, so I figured I would ask to find out for sure Thanks in advance.

No. .40 s&w ammo won't work with the 9mm breech face. You'd need a whole .40 cal slide for it to work and CZ doesn't sell them separately.
