I was in a gun store today looking for scope rings and I stopped by their gun counter. They had a surplus CZ82 in typical used finish for $159. I thought, "jeez that's too good to be true," so I asked to see it.
Now I don't know what kind of barrels these pistols have, but I've seen the bores on Makarov PMs and there is easily visible rifling. Honestly, it looked like a smoothbore. Both myself and another guy tried to feel even miniscule rifling with a ball point pen but as far as we could tell, somebody ground the inside of this thing to a mirror.
Can anyone get a picture of the rifling on their CZ82 so I can compare, and does anyone know if there's a history of these pistols having this "feature."
