Czechpoint vz.58 762CQB in stock thread

Czechpoint has a "new" model of their awesome Vz.58 rifle available (sort of...) on their web site.

I love my original one and wanted to buy another, but they are always out of stock. Now this one caught my eye, and it's even better than my classic Military version - yet it's also out of stock. I have a feeling these things go quickly.

According to their web site, another batch comes in September. There doesn't seem to be a way to sign up for an email notification when they come in, so I'm creating this thread instead. If anyone else is interested as well, subscribe to this thread. I may not be the most diligent person in checking their web site, but if enough of us do, a notification trigger on this thread will let us know! The first person who sees them in stock, please reply here! We'll all understand if you want to buy one first before doing so.

I love my Czechpoint VZ but they've jumped the shark with these prices. Back when I paid $825 shipped for my folder VZ58 I could recommend it but now? While most manufacturers are dropping prices they keep increasing them. It looks like its working for them as everything is always out of stock but I can't support that personally.

I think the company knows their life is short lived. What are they going to do when the supply stops? Perhaps that is why the prices are going up. Supply & Demand?

And yet they keep selling out quickly. Somehow they are able to buck the current race to the bottom of AR and AK pricing.

FWIW, there was a time not too long ago when Bison lathe chucks (Polish) were like 200$, and now they are 3-4 times that. Exchange rates are murder, as is inflation in growing economies.

Probably import something else or start making entire guns stateside like Kalashnikov intends to.

And it's already out of stock again.

I really like my Century VZ2008. It's a straight shooter and with the original buttstock which I was blessed to find on Ebay from Europe, I would put it up against any AK or VZ58.
