I've been into guns for many years now, and always try to introduce new people to the sport, including my parents.

Just happy to say that yesterday after several range trips with me, my father got his CHL.

Now starts the fun of looking for a good CCW. Any recommendations other than Kahrs and the Walther PPS that we already plan to test? He wants a narrow, easily concealable pistol for business and casual attire, with the ability to fit all his fingers around the grip. Based on that, compact Glocks are out of the question, as well as several others with very short grips. He felt a Kahr K40 and Walther PPS... liked the PPS best.

Walther PPS if it fits your hand ok. Your on the right track. Keltec PM9 is ok as well. I think Keltec has two little nines now.

Don't overlook the Glock 19 even though its thicker. But for deep concealment at work I'd go with the PPS as well.
