I grabbed a couple of Damascus blades from a dealer. They are gorgeous knives with a nice design.

All damascus blade and handle:

I don't know if people actually use these or just display them.

Anyone have some? What do you do?

those are real nice, very well designed.
just got one myself from a gun show dealer, fixed blade tho. not sure what I'll do with mine, but it sure looks nice. All I know is that since it is made from at least 90 folds of the alloys, don't use it to throw or pry, the layers can actually flake off.

i bought two from the same production line.
Pakistan that is.

same file work, and i´ve also seen the models u have
on the list of the ebay seller i got mine from.

Seems "they" work in loose assembly lines, Smiths, gripmakers, grinders ...

May i ask what u paid? :) ( Did the dealer sell´em as his own??)

I bought mine to use, as they do not intimidate as much as a "fighting" folder.
I gave mine to a pro fro sharpening ... results are okay for normal use.

All in all: Good knife, good sheath ... for the lil money i paid.
