I'm always impressed with your knives, but this one truly blows me away. I am just completely floored by how much I like it.

I thought that looked like G-10 but I was confused at first when I read the title. Great looking blade.

Jim,

Do you find that the combination of damascus with "field" furniture sells as well as having slightly fancier furniture on a damascus knife?

Interesting question. I've seen a lot of guys with custom damascus skinners that they use for gutting deer all the time. I think the mysticism associated with the damascus plus the "field" furniture makes for a good selling point in addition to the high level of quality and craftsanship. (ie- whoa check out this super hunting knife man it's got that damascus steel like a samurai sword)

Holy cow, that is a gorgeous knife! I love the blade shape and overall proportions. With the damascus, it's simply stunning.

I'ma have to start saving my dollars for one of these...
