Hi Guys,

I just finished a Damascus Quillion Dagger. The steel is 1080 & 15n-20 and it is 320 layers. Blade and all furniture were made from the same bar. The handle is Tanzanian Rosewood. I opted to go for a smooth handle on this one, but I will be practicing fluting/wire inlay over the next few months. There are more pictures and information about the knife on my site.

Thanks Everyone. John the balace point is at the front of the guard. Feels Fleet & Deadly. I'll keep an eye out for you HSO.

Very nice!

Planning to forge something similar (tho nowhere near as finely finished) in the near future, with desert ironwood burl handle....

Just got me some extra inspiration!

Thanks Everyone,

It's sort of a practice knife for the Master Smith test. The actual Master Dagger has to have a fluted and wire inlayed handle.

Cheers,
Fuad
