"I am looking at a pm7, i love the way it feels but my dealer also showed me a kimber team match. "

I compared my Kimber Team Match II to my DW CBOB in the area of the back of the slide where the fit shows up. In my opinion the kimber would probably look identical to the DW except for the method of deburing. They intentionally use minimal deburing on the DW so that the slide joint almost disappears. Having said that I should also say that the DW also seems tighter than the Kimber. Whether that is good or bad is another matter.

ccsteffler....What kind of problems did you have with your DW's? Is this a problem with most new guns? I am thinking of a DW PM-7 or a Kimber Team Match. I do like the DWs feel over the kimber.

My CBOB had major problems with FTF and FTE. I had load single rounds for about the first 100. After that it started to smooth out and run fine. I also polished the feed ramp with crocus cloth. I took a class with it where we shot 1K rounds in two days and it functioned great for that. I have also found that 8+1 mags don't seem to work as well with it.

My friend's CBOB had the ejector break off, so it had to go back to DW for that.

My PM7 in .45 was having problems falling into half-cock between shots. I believe that is a problem with the sear. It had to go back to DW for that. Same issue with the mags.

No problems with the PM7-10 in 10mm.
