After shooting all of the smaller calibers for many years, I picked up a G21 and fired 10 shots of 45ACP just 3 wks ago. I liked it:D My journey to the dark side had begun. In my brief search for a range/target .45ACP, I settled on Dan Wesson PM7S, for many reasons. My first 1911 as well.

I fired 100rnds Win 230gr FMJ, 10rnds Win 230gr JHP, and 10rnds Win Ranger Talon 230gr JHP. Zero problems, all functioned perfectly. I’ll pick up some plated SWC at the next Eastman show in 2 wks and give that a try as well.

My thanks to DW for making an entry-level firearm which takes average shooters like myself up to the next level, and to all on this forum (and the forums.1911forum.com) for all of the information I was looking for in my brief journey to the dark side. I think I’m there;)
