looks like a DW to me,,,you may have a later gen pistol that has a fixed barrel, post a pic

That's the diagram for a large frame Dan Wesson revolver. The small frame revolver (.22, 357) is a good bit different.

As said it is the large frame Dan Wesson. It is the same basic design, except for the scale of the parts. The obvious visible difference is the different hammer spur.

How does your DW differ?

Small frame wessons have a side access plate um somewhat like a sw or taurus but on the left side and a different set up for the trigger group from the large frame. Same designer just a bit different and waaay stronger. There are different barrel shrouds.

I'm digging that 2" shroud. I have EWK's 4" and 6" shrouds, but that pic is making me want to pick up his 2" also. My wallet is not happy with me!

IslandTimes, that one is 3"s. PCCA, a new game that just started, requires a J frame or the equivalent with a 3" barrel or less. Discreet Carry class allows the K or L frame but with a 3" barrel or less. I traded for a M60-10 and it does well when I focus.
One day I was looking at the DAs and I had an epiphany. I had seen EWK's website looking at the Dan Wesson forum. History happened.
