I bought this Dan Wesson Specialist today from my favorite LGS. Fit and finish are superb, the trigger breaks at a crisp 3.5#. It has Heinie "Straight 8" tritium sights which I really like

I also softened the edges of the thumb safety and did a little trimming and blending of the magwell,

Does DW pay you? Because they should. This just kicked the Colt rail gun out (mostly because Colt has FCS :barf:).
Again very nice piece of steel.

Nice where did you pick that up from? Been thinking of getting the specialist with their duty treat, have not fully committed to getting one

Hoffman's. Newington Gun Exchange had some in stock as well. I hear Hiller Sports in Norwalk carries DW too.
