Dangit...it's been a LONG time since I've done a plea for help...

All:

It really warms my heart to see all this support, and to know that we have helped you (Jim) so much.

Most of you, myself included, don't know Jim at all.

I've never met him (yet), nor have many of you who sent him money.

Wow.

I'm impressed too....

Thank you all, and thank you Jim!!!

I was gonna buy a Dixie Ch... never mind. Money's coming !

That's what I like to see! Stop giving it to the enemy, give it to our friends!

Let's see more of this talking with your wallet!

OK, all...HOLD IT!!! :D

Right, no new pledges please :). Go ahead and mail any existing pledges, I've been keeping a rough tally, assuming 2/3rds or more of the snailmail pledges come through, I've got survival needs for a month, plus enough for some holstermaking supplies, plus enough to get to Sacramento a couple times as the bills come up (no word yet).

So this is official: NO new pledges. Send what you'd planned by snailmail as long as you can without hurt, in any case...THANKS! With any luck y'all have just got my feet back under me.

Thank you.

Oops

Uh, well, I read about 1/2 way down the previous page before I got my Paypal window all fired up and shot off some dough to ya Jim.

I don't post much, nor even lurk much since TFL went down, but I've always believed in ya and appreciated what you so for us stuck here in Kali.

Hell, use what I sent you for beer money. You earned it. Drop me a line if you ever need help again or a place to crash down here in San Diego.

I dunno whether to :D or :banghead:.

More :D of course...

Sigh. Any "excess" will go to one or the other lawsuits so there's no "waste".

Exactly. So shaddap, willya? :D

And I can only speak for myself, but I wouldn't mind if you used some to splurge on a pizza or a six-pack. OOr even a box of ammo and a range trip! :what:

You've earned it.

Negatory on the six-pack, I don't drink :D. It's a taste thing :barf:.

Don't smoke, never done a recreational drug in my life...boooring. Hey, but at least I ain't *completely* politically correct :p.

You speak for me too, sir.

I agree Jim; you've earned it!!!

Thank you!

Oops. Already fired off an email for your mailing address before I even got to the second page. I'm still more than willing to contribute if you need it - your help to me personally, and the cause in general has been invaluable.

Thanks,

Neil

Better late than never?

Jim,

I've been trying to follow your struggle against the Kali bureaucrats. I want CCW in California, and feel bad that there is not more that I can do for it.

Even though you said "no more", I'm sending along a little bit, just to try and make me feel like I'm helping.

Use it as you see fit. I hope the day arrives soon when we can see the fruits of your labors.

Good luck,

David Row

I can tell you from having met Jim at CounterAttack, he is one of the good guys. Totally committed to a good cause in hostile territory. One of these days, Jim, I am going to treat you to the best steak dinner you have ever had. In the meantime, if you need any more help, send me an email. Sorry I didn't see this in time.

If the rest of you still want to help Jim out, I am sure he wouldn't mind taking your orders for a holster. I can attest that they are good quality and ther is nothing else like them on the market today.

Guys, jeez, stop arready!

:D/:banghead:

Rock Jock: tell me something, have you noticed that "final molding to your body effect" yet? For anybody curious, what's different about my rigs is, the main body is very thin .060-grade kydex while the belt connections are the more common, thicker .090, and there are swivel-connections linking them. So the first advantage is that the whole thing "flexes" at the hinges in ways kydex holsters normally don't as you sit/stand/etc. The second effect, which has been an interesting surprise, is that the .060 stuff I'm using is very slowly affected by body heat, and kind of do their own "final mold" to your body shape just from being worn. It doesn't appear serious enough to affect the gun's safe and tight-enough fit, so I'm calling it a "feature" versus "bug" :).

To some degree, yes. I haven't been able to carry my Kimber concealed as much as I would like as the weather is starting to warm up. When I fully transition to shorts and summer shirts, I'll start to carry it more.
