AIM Surplus is have a "sweet 16" sale, whatever that is, but nice prices on ammo and other things.

Wolf Gold .223, which is copper/lead bullets and brass reloadable cases, made in Taiwan, is going for $5.79 a box. Great ammo. PPU M193 is $5.99. C Products 30rd SS mags are $7.95.

No relation to them on my part, just thought I'd share a good deal. Enter "sweet16" in their code box when checking out.

I thought Wolf Gold .223 was PPU. Being a "label", have they changed providers recently?

Wolf Gold is a big case of "It Depends". Wolf Gold 8x57 from a couple of years ago was PPU manufactured complete with PPU headstamp. I think that their 223 was also PPU at that time, but that changed a little while ago. I only bought one box of Wolf Gold 8x57 so I can speak from personal experience on that one but I'm going off discussions with friends on the 223. The nice thing about the WG 8x57 was that it was the full CIP spec 8x57 IS rounds, not the ones marked "8mm Mauser" SAAMI-spec rounds specifically made for import to the US. The difference is 2500 fps v. 2200 fps for 196 gr SP.

Only Wolf Gold stuff on hand here is 9mm Luger...... And it's in reloadable brass cases with a PPU headstamp and on each box it says "Made in Sebia". But they probably outsource stuff here and there.

AIM also sells inexpensive western European ammo which is also good, like Geco (Swiss/German) and Fiocci (Italian).

They occasionally have some Turkish .223 which was also fine.
