Date my winchester

    Hi y'all, could someone please help me date my new pal?
    It is a mod 94 in .32 win spl, serial# 1143578... a nice little ex with some patina and beautiful wood.

    According to proofhouse.com, it was made in 1938.

    At 73 she's old enough to do what she wants!
    Thanks for the info, FIUO, and the quick response. Should make a good companion for my Dads 49 Marlin in .32spl. Going out to shoot 'em both about now. Great forum!

    My brother recently traded for one made in 1941. It looks like its brand new. I'm trying to fiure out a way to take possesion of it.
