Dating BTA-90

purchased a used tanfoglio BTA90 9mm a few years ago. Have been trying to determine the age using bluebook, my gunsmith, sent email to EAA and to Tanfoglio, all with no results.
The serial # is G233xx. Can anyone give me an idea as to date of manufacture?
