Took my Rock River Arms Varmint Rifle A4, 8 MM Mauser Preduzece 44 model 98 with a B NICKEL SUPRA MARBURGL Supra-4x36 LS1 ES Made in Germany 4X Post, ASA 9 MM M-4 and my AA.50 Beo to the range today to play. I took several factory .223's as well as some of my reloads to try. I took Hornady 75Gr Steel Match Speer 64Gr Gold Dot,Wolf 75 grain BTHP Performance Ammunition, 77 Gr Sierra OTM over 24 grs of Varget, Sierra 69 Gr BTHP Match over 20 grs IMR-4198. Had some .50 Beo 275gr and 300gr Rainers over 37.7 grs of LilGun. Note to self" STOP putting the 275/300 in the same bag. Hard to tell them apart and they don't shoot to the same POI."
The Scope on the Mauser has an index mark that moves the POI to the right. Elevation just has an arrow. One would think the arrow is UP, it isn't. I moved the scope a little forward and had to resite in the scope and forgot what the arrow does. After I chased my rounds around I figured it out.:banghead:
