There are LOTS of people who are far better shots than I am, especially on the internet. I must say this seemed like an off day to me, dying camera battery, destroyed target chain, not really a good day, but what the heck, I'll publish the movie any way. That was still fun to make.

A CZ bolt in X39 is about the only thing I would trade my VZ.58 in on now.

68wj, yes, a 7.62x39m CZ 527M converted to the CSR by a gunsmith buddy of mine in Mesa. I also have a vz-58, and ain't trading either of them off any time soon!

Thanks for the positive comments, had fun doing it, even if it wasn't the greatest day I ever had shooting. I did manage to fix Thugly's chains, so he'll be swinging gently, gently in the wind next range trip.

You know I can't diss anyone shooting a 527, especially yours.

I will probably get one of those auto resetting poppers this summer for shooting my 527. Hey...try using a 'hasty' with that sling. I think you'll find it's quite stable when standing.

goofy, it's a drivers hat - looks even worse backwards that a baseball hat.
Chris, that's the only way I know to use a sling for shooting stability...guess I'll have to look it up. BTW, that sling is the original military one that came with my SA vz-58.
