Not that I am going to try it, but on the basis of Heller, as a US Citizen, if I was to travel to DC, I ought be be allowed to bring one of my handguns with me to provide self-defense in my temporary home (hotel/home of a family member or friend).

Heck, I would even be willing to compromise, and only bring something as "benign" as a S&W 642 so as to not offend the sensibilities of those who are scared of 'high capacity" semi-automatics.

HELL NO. they want all guns gone too. i say if they dont abide by the ruling, we FORCE them out of office, one way or another.

Exactly. It would be poetic justice to have ATF arrest Fenty for not allowing citizens their free access to firearms.
