Found a stiff black belt at JCPenney the other day. Came with "Work Belt" sticker on it and it's two layers of leather. It's cheap leather, but by no means is it a noodle.
The neat part, it was 14.99 normally and on sale for $11 and change, so I bought one. Much better than my previous wet lasagna strip leather belt previously. It is noticeably more comfortable now while carrying. I've been looking for a CCW belt in town and have so far struck out. This is a good compromise and I'll try to chime back in a month or so from now and report if its a hit or s**t.
I don't expect it to last long, but for the interim, it's a good cheap start and thought I would share.
