Hey guys I recently picked up a sweet M-19 2.5 in. I usually carry my 442 in one of my pockets and want to start carrying the 19. IWB or outside suggestions are welcome. Most for my money is what I want and I don't want something that will beat up the guns finish to bad. Trick is that it must be for left sided carry. Thanks.

Wow! No info. on packing a 2.5 in. M-19 for a lefty??????? Nobody.... Anybody???? Do I smell??? Is this post in the right place?

Go to the Kramer site and look for the Thomas holster its designed for revolvers, I'm left handed also and use one of his rigs as well as an El-Paso rig for my 3 1/2" 27

My left side 19 snub lives in a Safety Speed Holster, Montebello Ca.
Like a mirror image Galco SIL 104, which my right side 19 snub lives in.

Buck at a garage sale.

It is adequate but not as pleasing as a Bianchi or Galco.

I wear em OWB, 4&8 o'clock, high and tight with really good belt.

First of all, don't worry about getting answers. They will come, but sometimes you have to wait a bit. On weekends folks are off doing other things.

A number of makers offer IWB holsters that are made with the leather's smooth side in. This will take care of the finish, but seriously if you are that concerned maybe the piece should become a safe-queen.

Don't buy a holster that's made out of soft leather. It will colapse when the gun is drawn and it takes two hands to re-holster. Also be sure that your belt fits the retaining loops or metal clip.

Thanks for the advice guys. I will have to check out the sites for Galco Kramer and Bianchi.

C.R. Sam, packing two m19's! Now that is impressive. I guess that would help me to keep my balance. I may have to find another one!

You think THAT'S imressive????? That's just his SUMMER rig.

Ya oughta see him in the fall; when he's FULLY loaded!!!;)

With N frames...
I add suspenders.:)

For inside waistband holsters, I like the leather rough side out...helps stabilize holster.

Really prefer OWB tho.

Litlman;

I used to carry a Ruger SP101 in a Milt Sparks summer special IWB. I'm left handed, but used the RH holster in a small of the back position. Good holster & depending on where you wanted it, would determine whether or not to get the RH or LH model. Tony will make pretty much what you want & do a damn good job of it.

I've since moved on to carrying a semi-auto, but will always suggest anybody looking for a holster to check out Milt Sparks.
