That huge heavy bullet is less effect than a 170gr 30-30. I have shot deer with both. It is a well know fact that a high speed expanding rifle round is more destructive on flesh than a slow heavy bullet. That thumping effect widely talked about never happens.

IF it was "me" choosing, I'd grab the 30-30 and RUN!
