Guys,
Who makes these and which ones seem to be the best?

Accuracy is a concern for me which is why I'm looking into an entire upper rather than a simple conversion.

Thanks in advance!

Spikes Tactical makes one and so does Model 1 Sales.

There may be more, but those come to mind.

I have a Spike's upper - its based on the Ciener kit, but with some improvements. A little pricey, but highly recommended.

I have a Model 1 Sales upper, also highly recommended. Mine is a heavy 16" and I have lots of fun with it at 100 yards with A2 sights and cheap ammo. It's plenty accurate.:)

They have M4 and CAR uppers, but if you really want accuracy, they also have 20" bull barrels and HBAR's, in cromoly or stainless, fluted or not.

I know of someone interested in parting with a dedicated upper made by AR gunsmith Sam Dayton. It is a full sized A2 upper used for practicing highpower rifle positions indoor. Medical concerns have made this person lose interest in competitive shooting.

PM or email me if you wish to explore this option further.

Its hard to beat a Compass Lake .22 upper, of course you might need to sell a kidney and a firstborn to obtain one.

You assume that someone would WANT some of our progeny.

The Ciener mags may not look as cool, but they're really solid and they don't leave calluses. Mine is actually a pleasure to load, and ordinarily I HATE loading .22 stack mags (I have 4 tube-mag .22 rifles now, and no detachable mag .22 rifles except the AR).
