Um, who the hell are you to tell me what I will and won't discuss?
If you're going to discuss my relationship with my family, then yeah, I'm going to tell you to end the discussion. At any rate, I've made a request of the moderators to lock this thread.

Hello? I do believe the OP has the prerogative to outline what is to be discussed in this thread and that was some specific GUN related questions he had.... NOT his relationships, how to use pepper spray, whether or not he should get a dog, whether or not he should edc, how to raise his kid, crime stats or whatever else these 4 pages have been filled with.

I understand what you're saying however this forum doesn't belong to the OP. If the OP would like to specifically dictate what will or will not be discussed then he needs to start his own forum.

I respect the OP's right to say that this really isn't an Avenue he wishes to pursue. I recognize his right just say this isn't something I particularly care to discuss.

What I don't recognize is his authority to tell me to END THE DISCUSSION.

So having said that, I also recognized his right to ask that this discussion be locked and whether the moderators do that or not I'm going to honor that and make this my last post in this discussion. Have a nice day

I’m kind of curious about why someone would ask for advice and then get upset when that advice is given.

Pretty simple way of avoiding that in the future. Don’t ask for the opinion of other gun owners, they just might give them to you.

They do have a lot of say in a thread they created and we should try to stick to the subject on hand as seen through their eyes. IMHO of course. A thread's creator deserves a certain amount of respect. We don't call ourselves The High Road for no reason.
