Photographed on his scrape. This is a 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 year old buck. Needs at least one more year. I sneaked a cam over to his scrape before leaving for the TSRA Service Rifle Champ. There are a couple more small bucks that showed up when I re-checked it today.

Big Ten

This is one of two brother, Big Eight and Big Ten. Big Eight got shot from the road two years ago. Big Ten Made it through the season but tore off an antler at the socket. It didn't grow back except as a palmated stump last year, though he was a massive six on the other side. Here he is this year. He's ruined his stump but is really big on one side. I'm not shooting him. Hope he breeds every doe on the creek.

Big Ten

Here he is. On the no-shoot list. I'm going to shoot doe tags on another ranch and watch these guys. Notice how many marks he has from fighting.

Un-named buck across the creek.

He's a little more solid bodied, might be older. Has a brow-tine that goes back over his ear.

Un-named buck across the creek.

If they don't get killed the first couple of years when they are running around like wild dogs, they can make it. You only get a shot at them if you can rattle them up during the rut or just get crazy lucky. Pretty thick and deep in here.

Big Ten last year.

This is with the first antler he grew after he tore it off. Last season.

Deer cam today.

Another shot of the bigger buck. Looks 3 1/2 to me. Nice deer.
