DEFENSIVE HANDGUN LEVEL 1
Time: Class begins at 0900 Fees: $300 Non Members - $260 Members
Course Overview Defensive Handgun Level 1 is a 2 day course designed to prepare individuals to defend themselves in a critically dynamic situation with the use of a handgun. Students will receive instruction and practical application of: Shot delivery methods, Incapacitation theory, reloads, malfunctions, drawing from a holster, use of cover and close contact engagements. Minimum skill level requirement: None. It is recommended that shooters have a working knowledge and familiarity of the weapon they intend to use. Gear list: Mandatory: • Eye and ear protection • Billed, baseball style hat • Semiautomatic pistol • 3 magazines • Holster • Magazine pouches • Clothing suitable for outdoor training • Note taking gear • 800 rounds minimum • Water Recommended: • Extra ammunition • Sun screen and bug repellent • Cover garment (concealed carry) • Blue gun *6 student minimum. If the minimum is not met tuition will be fully refunded.
