Del-Ton 20" HBAR Ar15

I have a new one sitting around. Does anyone have experience with Del Ton and their rifles' reliability and overall effectiveness (just in terms of no failtures/accuracy)? I'm thinking of getting the barrel lathed to the SP 1 configuration, and slapping my eotech 512 on it, along with a flip up BUIS.

Mine is a great rifle. 16" midlength. It eats everything and gives nice accuracy.

I have a mid length del-ton too. Accurate and it eats any ammo. Mark

Del-Ton had a bad run on bolts earlier this year but they've since fixed the problem. I'd take a Del-Ton over many other brands as mine functions flawlessly and will eat anything. The one quirk it has it'll fail to lock the bolt if resting on sandbags but will lock the bolt free-handed. Don't know why, don't really care, it's far more accurate than the one pulling the trigger.

Well I shot 200 rounds of 5.56 M193 Prvi Partizan and it shot flawlessly. So, im guessing my bolt is fine then? I shot off-hand, and rested on a tree stump.

how's the interior finish?

I have a 16" middy and it functions with no issues.
But the interior of the upper receiver is finished (or not finished) in a mottled manner.

What do your upper interiors look like?
