Seems the Democratics (their word, not mine) in Illinois have come out at the state level and are attacking gun owners with mailings suggesting we're a danger to our communities.

Fear and apprehension is apparently the best some of them have, as most don't want to campaign on the tax hike and death penalty abolition and other similar unpopular issues.

The bottom line is that anyone donating to Democrats in Illinois are supporting this coordinated attack on us, and the continuation of the status quo of infringing upon our civil rights. Remember this if you are thinking about writing your pro-gun Dem in southern Illinois a check for their campaign!

Democratic Party of Illinois declares war on gun owners! Vows ban on America’s favorite rifle.

What would you say to a group of politicians who wanted to ban America’s favorite pastime, baseball? But what if they claimed it was dangerous?

You would think they were pretty out of touch, wouldn’t you? And you would be absolutely right.

Well, the Democratic Party of Illinois (DPI) has declared war on everyday, law-abiding gun owners in Illinois along with America’s favorite rifle, the ubiquitous and versatile homeland defense rifle known to many as the AR-15.

The Democratic Party of Illinois proudly wears the “Democrats: The Party of Gun Control” label in a series of mailings sent by the DPI as part of a coordinated attack on law-abiding gun owners in Illinois.

The mailings suggest that owners of America’s favorite rifle are a bad hair day from shooting up their towns and cities and are a danger to their families, neighbors and communities. Of course, the Democratic candidates are our only defense to bloodletting in our schools and on our streets with their promises to support more bans on repeating rifles and full capacity magazines.

Oh, plenty of pro-2nd Dems in IL, too. This is just the same boring nonsense we endure non-stop: just keep faith--we can get SBR's now and ISRA is rocking the house more and more.

Is the AR15 really 'America's Favorite Rifle'?

It's quite possibly my favorite.

But I would guess that America -by way of gross sales/quantities- has voted the bolt action sporting rifle as its favorite.
