i have an lcr, i have a desantis sof tuck iwb holster. i bought it as a way to carry till i can get something better. however i have come to love this holster even at the short time i've owned it. my friend bought one but decided he didn't like the plastic clip, he gave me his holster, so i now have two. my wife said that since i have two we can wait to get an more expensive one since we are on such a tight budget. i do love the sof tuck and with two i should be covered for a while. for those that have one, how long have you had it?, and if you did wear one out how long did it take? i love the holster and really can't see me getting anything with the way this one has been as long as i can get good life from it. thanks for any help

I just got one too, if anyone hasn't tried them, I highly recommend them as a cheaper holster. I prefer them over an aliengear or that type holster. Works really well under a tucked dress shirt, even fro my Glock 17 on strong side carry. As far as wear goes, I've only had mine a few weeks and they're barely broke in so time will tell.

yea mine is very comfortable with my lcr, i was just wondering how long if carried daily they would last? for the price i wouldn't mind spending a $20-$25 every 2-3 years instead of trying to come up with $75+ as i don't have much left after bills and saving is hard as other stuff seems to come up and gets it. if they will last that long, i know i will not buy another kind as i'm happy with the sof tuck.

I have a number of DeSantis Holsters, including several SOF-TUCK models, and have found them to be well made of quality materials, very comfortable to use' and an excellent value for the money.

I was using one for a while over the summer when I tried to like a Glock again. I was using it with a Glock 26 with no problems in regard to comfort or durability. I would be a little more apprehensive carrying a larger and heavier gun in one, but only in regard for the single J clip to effectively hold the extra weight of something like a 1911, 92FS or P220/6/7/8/9. At the end of the day, I'd say it's a very tough holster to beat for the money.

I've been using one for my Kel-Tec P11 for a few years now. I didn't find it very comfortable at first, until it got broken in a bit. Only now is it finally beginning to conform to the shape of the pistol inside it, mainly at the ejection port. I always meant to form it a little better with some water, but never bothered. It has become stained in places from contact with blue jeans, but has still held up just fine.
I'd have much rather bought something higher-end originally, something like a versa max 2, but I didn't find anything like that for this gun at the time. For the $20 or so that it cost, I think it offers good value.
